In India, the literacy rate is increasing compared to previous decades but people are not that conscious about many affairs which they should be as if they are literate I think the literacy rate is proliferating only on paper and people are still dealing with a lack of knowledge in many affairs. Welfare schemes for vulnerable sections of society are made available by the government but the proper distribution of these schemes doesn’t seem to be occurring, there are very few people who question authorities about those schemes and their procedures but most of the people despite being literate are so unconscious and negligent towards these schemes and this unconsciousness about these matters and negligence of people is what leads to the corruption by authorities. People should question authorities about issues related to the development and management of the social sector, and services related to health, education, and human resources because authorities and assembly members are working for the people. Hence, they are answerable to people but we people aren’t ready to ask questions to them. Still, for the well-being of society questions need to be asked and people need to be conscious enough to at least understand what is happening around them. Be aware.
