The problem everybody is aware of but none of us is accepting it and regarding it as a problem, we are unconsciously allowing this problem to affect our thoughts and lifestyle this problem is social media…

Social media wasn’t a problem when it was just a platform where people used to chat and share thoughts but since these marketing tactics and influential politics have taken over social media it has taken a terrible shift. These social media founders are working to keep people as engaged as they can on the screen. Since people are so unconsciously engaged on the screen it is very easy to influence and manipulate them about something in someone’s interest. Social media has become a very useful tool or product for corporations and politicians to bring their agenda to people and manipulate people to do things according to their interests and without even knowing/ unconsciously we end up doing those things that they want us to do. Did you notice that while scrolling through your social media you see some products that you are interested in but you are not willing to buy them in the first place subsequently you end up buying them or while scrolling you see some communal or religious post and that brings your adrenaline to rush and puts extremist thoughts in your mind subsequently that helps the political agenda of some party.
It's not our fault that we end up scrolling social media every time because its content is so relevant and relating to us that we are unable to control it, did you notice when you are sad some sad posts show up on your screen which are so relevant to your thoughts and when you are feeling affection towards someone the love-story posts show up and we can't resist ourselves without engaging on that screen. This isn’t magic or something they have access to our data and they have built some algorithms that are becoming precise day by day because the data is increasing day by day. People usually say that they know what they are doing but thinking that you know when you don’t is a fatal mistake.
India is the largest marketplace in the world and every corporation is trying to set its roots in our country, they are willing to do anything to capture this marketplace by changing people's minds through their tool/product “social media”. In their need for growth, many people are sacrificing their need for stability and too without knowing what they are doing. Try to unplug your social media matrix as possible as you can, try spending quality time with your friends and family, and also try to build quality relationships.
